The match no.12 of Indian Premier League will be played on April 19th at the Wankhede Stadium between the three time champions Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals who were the maiden winners of IPL.
Chennai Super Kings-
If we look at Chennai’s side, they seem to be a strong opponent. The team won its last match against Punjab Kings quite easily. After their first match of this season which did not end in the way they wanted it to, their bowling attack was being considered a poor one but in their last match it was their bowlers who won them those two points. Chennai would be expecting another great bowling performance from the man of the match of that game; Deepak Chahar who bowled a remarkable spell and took 4 important wickets. Chennai’s bowling was magnificent against PBKS but the performance of Shardul Thakur who is a wicket taking bowler of the team was not that effective. But I guess MSD will give another chance to the Indian Bowler as he was in a great form in the recent T20 series between India and England. Now if we talk about their batting, it seems to be having depth, experience and players who can play with a high strike rate but the form of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayadu will be a matter of concern for the franchise. Today they can give a chance to Robin Uthappa to play his first match for the team in place of Ruturaj Gaikwad. But according to me, another chance to the youngster can help him return in form and play a big innings for the team. Overall Chennai appears to be a strong side and if the out of form players can contribute in today’s match then it would be tough for RR to beat them.
Rajasthan Royals-
Like Chennai, Rajasthan also won their previous match and would be looking forward to winning another one. The last match was an important one for the franchise as Ben Stokes ruled himself out from the league after breaking his finger a few days before that match. It was expected that RR would face some problems in their batting lineup due to this huge blow but I think David Miller took the responsibility and he tried his best to cover up the loss. He played an amazing innings of 62(43) which was very crucial for the franchise. Another plus point for Rajasthan is that Chris Morris is looking in a good form. His innings of 36*(18) played an important role in winning them the match. But Morris also needs to contribute with the ball as Rajasthan's bowling lineup appears weak due to absence of Jofra Archer. Although in the last match Unadkat’s performance was impressive as he took early wickets and ensured that DC don’t score many runs in the power-play but he needs to be consistent with his performance and that’s what RR would be praying for. The middle order can be a problem for the franchise as Shivam Dube, Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia were not able to play big innings in the previous games. These youngsters have to take the responsibility and try to score as many runs as possible in the death overs. Overall Rajasthan has a nice team but the contribution of every player is necessary for tonight’s game.

Excellent analysis! I'm rooting for (consider name of today's future winner here) today, by the way...
