So, the World Cup is almost over with only the final match left. This was a roller coaster of emotions for any cricket fan, but we’ll talk about that in the upcoming posts. Today I am writing this note as an Indian cricket fan. I still remember the day when India won the 2011 CWC, my father took me out for a drive and all the roads were jam packed with people from all parts of society dancing on the street as if they were little children. I still remember sitting on my dad’s shoulders surrounded by thousands of people, it was a sight to watch. This was the first time I understood what this game is.
